"I was looking for a photographer that would be able to capture my daughter’s first birthday. After posting on a neighborhood website, Lyn from Sunflower photography contacted me. It was her openness and professionalism that helped me make the decision to hire her. She told me this was going to be a first for her, as she normally does not do birthday events.  I explained what I was looking for and describe the cultural importance of this day.She took it upon herself to research what she didn’t know about my culture and learned the important aspect of the event and what I was hoping to capture. 

On the day of the event, her and Kloey arrived early to make sure the lighting was right and to make adjustments. She checked in periodically and was extremely easy to work with. She took feedback well, and captured some beautiful moments that my family can look back on fondly.

The lightly touched up photographs were available within a couple days; they did an excellent job of communicating with us and gave us examples of color enhancements to choose from to create the perfect product.  Our children grow up quickly and we are so grateful for being able to have these beautiful family photographs to freeze this precious moment in time.
